Are you kidding? Even though I'm a guy, my mom would have asked me why i as even asking. Then she would have killed me.

If his mom is saying its ok, then she doesnt care about you, (or him for that matter). She needs a reality check. Especially when dealing with a 12 year old.

At 12 years old a guy might be going through puberty and therefore have hormonal changes as well as sexual desires, but 12 is too young for any girl to have sex of any kind. (guys too).

I dont blame your mom for getting upset. I would have too. I guess it just goes to show, that if you want someone to look out for your own safety and protection, you have to do it yourself, because no one else will.

By the way, if your bf (at that time) asked his mom to allow this to happen, then he didnt care for you either. (Think about it)...

Hope you have a new one now, cuz you deserve (and sounds like you need) someone better.

Take care and good luck.

When I was 12 I was arguing with my parents to let me stay at a same-sex friend's house for the first time! Much less an opposite-sex one! There's just no way in hell! I was 18 before I spent the night at a guy's house! What parent in their right mind would actually let their 12-year-old stay with her boyfriend?!? Now that I think about it, there's no such thing as a 12-year-old with a boyfriend! Like 12-year-olds actually know what a commited relationship is... Tsk, tsk, tsk.

When I was 16 I'd sleep over at my boyfriends house....but not for him. For my friend. her step brother was my bf. Anyway my parents knew me and knew I was actually there for my friend.

at 12? HELL NO. When I was 12 I was on a tight leash.

Even at 15- you're just asking for an unwanted pregnancy if you're sleeping at a bf's house.
I'm 20 and live with my boyfriend but I'm old enough to know what I'm doing. Plus I'm a college student, I moved out at 18 so I know about life....

My parents told me that I had to wait to be an adult before I would even dare do that sort of thing . Of course that was a while ago. I think they want to be able to trust him and you . There is also the definite possibility they will not approve unless the adults make sure nothing happens when you are there .

I take psychological wellbeing days each as quickly as in awhile, like if I also have a ton of paintings to do, or if college is merely tough on the 2nd and that i merely prefer sooner or later faraway from the drama. i think of i'm a greater suited individual for it because of the fact in the way forward for being at residing house working nevertheless stuff is greater suited than a week in college lost because of the fact i won't have the capacity to focus.

Maybe if it is after prom and he/she wont get home until 3 in the morning. I am in a long distance relatioship so we visit eachother and of course we stay at eachothers houses. Your mom is just trying to protect you.

Hell no! And now as a parent, I'd be screaming at that woman for even being stupid enough to say something like that.

My parents would never let it happen, and as the mother of a 12 year old boy, I would never let it happen. It's simply not appropriate.

Hell no! My parents wouldn't let me do that even if I was 18.
