You're kidding right?

French Revolution is when the French over threw the monarchy and became a democracy.

Industrial Revolution was a worldwide event, where people suddenly created and found new uses for machines.

They are completely unrelated!

French Revolution And Industrial Revolution

Oh god, okay the French revolution began in 1789 in France. The American Revolution and economic problems were the 2 greatest influences in the French revolution. People were starving in the streets. The French peasants had enough of the French monarchy. Not only did they see Marie Antoinette dressing in extremely expensive flamboyant clothes. They saw Louis the 15th (I think) spending money in the Americas. France hated England so they took sides with America after the winning battle of Saratoga. So there is alot of frustration between the peasants and the monarchy. The French people were starving and King Louis pays attention to the Americas. The peasant’s revolt. Have you heard of heads on pikes (I'll let you look that up.) Any way the monarchy was over thrown and France went into dark times. People who were nobles were executed with the guillotine. (Another thing you could look into).

Now the industrial revolution is different...way different. The industrial revolution started in the late 18th century in Britain. The industrial revolution was not a war it was a shift in technological conditions, during this time countries all around the world prospered. Manual labor became a thing of the past. The use of coal started railroads and canals and so much more.
I hope this helps

This question is an insult to history and each of you that actually took the time to explain the difference between the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution.

But just so this qualifies as an answer and I keep my two points.

French : Blood, Guts, and Glory.
Industrial : Labor, economic, and innovation.

The French Rev was an actual shooting/killing revolt while the Ind Rev was an upheaval in society brought about by the increased use of mechanisms by society. Whiloe the French thing was over in a few years, the Industrial revolution continued right up to the start of the Information Age-the present era which was initiated when home computers became a reality.

The French Revolution occured when the French people over throwed the monarchy and set up their own democratical system in France.

The Industrial Revolution occured when the United States started gaining new technological advances which would help them in every day life.

Firstly, they took ideas from Great Britain, this one man ( cannot recall the name at this time ), remembered all the designs for a certain type of technology they had set up in Great Britain, and brought it over to the United States so that they could have these benefits, although Great Britain had made it a law that it was illegal to do so. Anyways, sincethen on they constructed better railroads, made advances such as the cotton gin, started up more factories and machines that worked together such as interchangeable parts.

Thanks for your time.

Simple answer: the French Revolution was a shooting war (actually an uprising) where people died, and the French government was changed from a king to an elected government.

The Industrial "revolution" is a term to describe the historical movement of people gradually using machines more and more to do most of manual labor that used to be done by animals or people.

The French Revolution happened in the late 18th century (around 1788-1799), and involved the overthrow of the absolute monarch Louis XVI and the installation of a (semi-)democratic republic. Many people were killed, including the King, by way of the famous guillotine.

The Industrial Revolution happened in the late 18th century and early 19th century, during which social, technological and cultural conditions changed dramatically. Society was industrialised, many factories were built and traditional crafts, traditions and employment were taken over by machines. Railways were introduced and trade expanded enormously. The process began in Britain and quickly spread to other countries throughout the world. Unfortunately, not all the effects were positive as many people lost their jobs to machines and/or were forced to move to the new cities and work in cramped, dirty conditions for long hours and low pay.
