My vet thinks that my dog was poisoned by the recalled pet food. I placed a call to the 800 # 3 months ago and was told someone would get in touch with me. So fat nothing. I called back and they told me if they entered my information on the list again I would be placed at the end of the list. Has anyone else been dealing with this?

My cousin's kitten became very ill but he recovered. She is hoping to join a class action lawsuit against the pet food makers, to recoop at least the vet bills, which were many hundreds of dollars. She works part time as a filing clerk in a law office, and one of the paralegals told her it was possible but unlikely that any financial compensation would occur, and if it did, it would be far far away.

Because there are liability issues and class actions suits, these things are going to take a long time. Don't expect anything to get settled any time soon. Just keep up to date on what is going on periodically and pay attention to anything that might show up in the mail, but don't hold your breath waiting.
