Even though I have a grown-up face, I don't ever have to use it unless I want to. So I guess my answer is 0 hours a week.
I work mostly with animals (cats) and they don't care what face I wear as long as I feed them and take good care of them, they love me and I never have the fear of getting fired

When my emotional pain got too bad and I couldn't get the help I needed, no matter what steps I took or who I asked for help (ER, family, friends), I eventually dissociated (started seeing myself from outside my body. I see this as my soul being so tired of the pain and what I was going to do that it had to leave. I went about my usual routine. I could still read communications in first person, but I was separated from myself. During that time I lost memory of what I was doing. There are points where my days are blackness. Then I have memories of pills in my hands--memories of hallucinations, seizures, charcol, etc. Extreme emotional pain can't be ignored. It hangs around. If you have a pastor, you may speak with him or her, but you may need a psychiatrist to get through this. If you can't afford an appointment with a private psychiatrist, go to a low income clinic. God put psychiatrists here for a reason. You don't need to suffer with this extreme pain if it can be relieved. If you had a broken leg, wouldn't you have a doctor set it and put it in a cast? Wouldn't you take the prescribed medications when the pain was too much? Emotional pain is no different. Ignoring a deep cut, hoping it will heal will likely lead to infection and loss of the arm if not death from gangrene. Ignoring emotional pain, hoping it will just go away, will likely lead to worse pain and death from a self-inflicted means. Don't take chances. Get help Bless you and good luck.

Sadly, about 18 hours a day. I'm the mommy of 3 little kids, so I have to look like I know what I'm doing.
