While it's better known as The Greatest Choke In Baseball History (which it was), the Red Sox' comeback in the 2004 ALCS -- down three games to zero (and Game 3 was a brutal spanking), down by one run in the bottom of the ninth of Game 4 with Rivera on the mound, and fighting back that night (Ortiz winning it with an extra-inning homer), the next night, a genuine head-shaker in Game 6 in NYC (so many unusual events in that game -- overturned calls, police lining the field, just bizarre), and the merciless crushing in Game 7 -- is without dispute the most amazing (and satisfying) comeback in the annals of the major league postseason.
Pushing back from being down 0-3 to reach the seventh game was a first. Fighting back from 0-3 to WIN was likewise unprecedented. Going on to sweep the Cardinals was the only way to ice that cake, and the Sox did it.

Obviously 2004 ALCS Yankees-Red Sox when the Sox came back from a 3-0 deficit to win the series 4-3. Not only were they down 3-0, they were losing in Games 4 and 5 and came back in the ninth to win both those games at Fenway. This is the first time a team came back from being down 3-0 and end up winning the series.

Not much to argue.
Red Sox in '04 after being 0-3 behind and losing 4-3 in the 9th inning of game 4 with Rivera on the mound.

I'd have to say the 10th inning comeback in the 1986 World Series by the Mets against the Red Sox, being 3 games to 2 down in the series, and 2 runs down with none on and 2 outs in the 10th. All was forgiven after 2004, though!!

whilst it isn't the main important deficit triumph over, the main important give way ever grow to be the 1964 Philadelphia Phillies. They led the St Louis Cardinals by way of 6 ½ video games with 12 video games to play. They lost 10 in a row and finished one activity back tied with the Cincinnati Reds. Blowing any lead in might isn't that massive a deal. 80 video games have been performed by using fact then. .

Yeah, it's the 04 Red Sox - nobody else is very close because, quite frankly, they're the only team to erase a 3-0 deficit in the MLB playoffs. It's painful for me to bring up, but you may never find a better comeback in baseball. If you want the biggest sports comeback of all time:
Houston Oilers in 1993 had a 35-3 lead over Buffalo late in the 3rd quarter, and Buffalo somehow came back and won 38-35 (and no, they NEVER went for two, and only used one on-side kick).
