As long as you're eating healthy from all food groups & drinking lots of water & feel good, I would ignore what people tell you. The less you say, the less they will say & eventually they will grow tired of commenting. Be strong & surround yourself with friends, who truly care about your well being.

my best friend is extreamly skinny. she is a bit underweight, but it's just how her body is built. she eats everything in the world, we call her "the bottomless pit" because the food doesn't go anywhere! haha. if you aren't anerioxic, then i'm sure you have always been that skinny. if someone comments about your health, just say "actually, it's how my body is built and i've always been this way". my best friend sounds exactly liek you! people would always call her anerioxic but she wasn't and she was too nice to say anything, and it really hurt her! just let them know you are healthy and tell them it hurts your feelings when they say such things!

sometimes no matter how much you eat, you will always be so skinny! chances are, your friends are jealous or concerned.

Tell them it's anorexic, not "anarexic"... That should set them straight.

j/k. My wife has the same problem. Tell them to mind their own business. They might come across as concerned but they are really probably just jealous.

I think its awful that in our society, people are picked on for being too heavy AND too thin. You can't please everyone, so don't try, just be happy for yourself!

If you want, just tell them "I'm not anorexic, just a little underweight and I'm trying to change that, and I would appreciate if you wouldn't pick on me anymore." (because you are, right? Naturally, you'd want to be at a healthy weight range?)
