Obviously it has nothing to do with them and it is an evil plot by whitey. (I'm being sarcastic.)

while I think you are trying to be confrontational here, it is a fact that black and white culture in the USA has it's differences. I think the overreactions by the people who answered before me are a little harsh, but other than Darrent Williams, who else has been murdered? It doesn't seem to be "all these black NFL players"

Well, among other things it is also a numbers game. The NFL has more Black players in it then White so statistically speaking you have a better chance of seeing a Black person in trouble. I wouldn't put too much weight on it being a race issue though.

I think the the NFL is only helping to finance a lifestyle that these guys where subject to since childhood. A majority of these guys grew up poor and became what their surroundings needed of them.
As they grew up and started making money, some of their bad habits (and friends) remained. Only now they have the monetary funds to really go all out.

First off its because the majority of the NFL and the NBA are black.
secondly these guys are big kids with millions of dollars and what they truly believe is a get out of jail free card. They were paid at the age of 20 or 21 and they never matured. They went from a college dorm/apartment into a mansion and then looked on as role models when they are really grown kids themselves.

its just that the majority of people in the nfl are black. like in baseball even though bonds is the most infamous for steriods because the homerun record still the majority of steriod users that have been caught are not black. for ex.: mark mguire, jason giambi, jose conseco and the mlb is split about half and half in race.

I don't think its necessarily that they are black. I think a lot of it has to do with the way they were brought up. For some of them this is their first taste of being famous and having big contracts that give them access to a lot of cash, and they are not handling it very well.
