Apocalypto is good if you don't mind subtitles.
Casablanca is a good date movie or GNO movie.
Since you want to see a horror flick, pick Primeval. It might be a bit cheesy in some places, but it is still good.
Have you seen Lost Boys? It is also a good horror movie--fun and scary.

Wow, could you have any more random choices?
Casablanca is a classic, so you can't go wrong there, but it is not scary.
Apocalypto is intense, but it doesn't feature Mel Gibson (he directed it, but isn't in it).
And Primeval is a cheesy, straight to video horror film.

Primeval is really scary. It was a little cheesy but not nearly as bad as some of the horror flicks I've seen. Have fun!

Casablanca!
Humprey Boghart, Ingrid Bergman, classic lines, classic songs, romance, what else do you want?!
As for Apocalypto, I wouldnt recomend it, it doesnt even portray Mayas accurately, and its gross, I almost left the movie theater while watching this one.

Casablanca is one of the best romantic movies I've seen. The theme is True Love and the sacrifice one makes in honor of it.

Go for Casanlanca, classics are always great and something you should see eventually.
