quite confused what you are trying to accomplish.. I have a MS in Mechanical Eng and Hubby has a PhD in Aerospace Eng. Are you trying to do research in university envornment or industry ?? What is pg??? Do you mena PE??
Depending on what kinda reaserch and what's your background, you should choice the class suit you. I am in optimization and hubby is doing experimental Aerodynamic.. But none of our area is something you can just jump in. What's your background???

Again, It will be depends on what class you took for undergraade and what you want to do for graduate study. Typically, you know the area you want, material, aerodynamic...etc. Find the professors you will be interested to work for. (you will need some advise from professor you know or go read some papers) And ID the school you want to apply ... or ID to school you want to apply and figure out what area the school offers and ID the prefessor you want to work for. When you write your statement of purpose, emphasis why you want to go in Aero Eng. and explain how your undergraduate experience will help your graduate study. try to contact the professor you interested and talk to him/her, If you have goog GPA, GRE, and good statement of purpose. you will have a good shot to anyschool even you didn't have a undergrade in ME, AE. I graduated from one of the top AME graduate school. we have peple from IE, physics... YOu will have to work harder when you are in school since you will have to make up a lot courses..
