It is just not corporate America that is political, but almost every aspect of life in this nation. You could be in the education sector and have to deal with the political mentality.

Aristotle called man a "political animal" for a reason. Politics in one or another is part of life.

Survive, Yes. Flourish, No. Being part of any organization and getting things done by and with others requires political skills. To lead, to contribute, to make things happen is all about politics - personal, professional, social, and civic.

To much of the money comes from the government not to be political in nature from the get go .

Its interesting if you ever interview at a law firm how they mention the politicians that have come from there offices .

A good firm will have several representatives state wide to insure that things are done as expected .
