I think Iran's leader is in part trying to unify support for his unpopular gov. by critisizing Israel. (No hard task. Israel is despised among Arabs and Persians) The western media (through the Zionist MEMRI) twists his words through mistranslation into war talk in order to make him a boogeyman. I myself think Ahmadinejad is a smart and respectable leader unlike Bush.

Thats the only thing that makes sense is to remove Israel and the Jews from the Middle East .
Jews are a cancer among Arabs and until they are removed no peace can ever be achieved . Certainly the Small number of Jews can not hold on much longer in the Middle East .
There will come a time when these people have the ability to destroy several Jew cities at once and thus destroy them once and for all .

The Iranian government uses the Palestinian cause as a distraction for the populous. If Palestine ever ended up becoming a viable democracy it would threaten the theocracies and dictatorships in the region. The status quo is good for these countries, they would never attack Israel because it would neutralise the only reason they are still in power.

Of course it makes no sense. But Nations don't make these decisions based on a dispassionate assessment of the facts.

We invaded Iraq to fight terrorism, end Hussein's use of WMD's, and install instant democracy But the terrorist that attacked us were not in Iraq, they had no WMD's, and democracy does not flourish in chaotic place with no tradition of it. This was largely known before we undertook the invasion. How much sense did that make?

The Iranian government is dangerous. Their hatred of Israel, their hatred of the US, their need to keep their population awash in cheap oil to stay in power may lead them to do the irrational, whether it made sense or not.

Religion... This Iranian Nation is a Theocracy. Many of these people like all religionists are unstable living in this superstitious idiocy similar to the rapture rights in our own country. Until the fallacies of religion are exposed and the world realizes the misery and hate it's brought to the human race the danger of this emotional frenzied hazard remains a viable alternative for right wing fundamentalists to create war and mayhem of various flavors. I think it should be obvious that not only Israel but any society may be subject to these religious zealots that pose a threat to all civilization.

No it doesn't really make any sense. the answer your seeking is the same one that answers the Arab/Israeli conflict that's been going on since the 1950's. sorry good luck getting the answer.
if you find one pass it on to the politicians they've been looking for one for almost 50 years.

They'll attack Israel if they think they can win. No one is saying it's gonna happen tomorrow. Or next year. They'll attack when it "makes sense".

They are waiting to attack because they do not want Israel to exist so either they have Hamas do their dirty work or they go on their own.
