How much does it cost to take the bus from the Golden Nugget to the strip. Where does it let you off at?

Use the Deuce. The Deuce is an air-conditioned doulbe-decker transit bus system that runs up and down the Strip and to Fremont St. A 24 hour pass will cost ya $5 and the busses run 24 hours.

Stops are about every other block along the Strip and run about every 10-15 minutes during the day and a little longer in between in the late hours, but still a best bet.

$5 for a 24hr Deuce pass

For info on the Deuce/Cat bus

You can catch the Deuce, either at the DTC(Downtown Transportation Center) Which is a good idea at times, unless you like waiting in long lines. Or you can catch the Deuce at Fremont & LV Blvd South(where the lines form when the FSE is busy).

The Deuce will stop near every major resort on the strip, and it goes all the way out to the SSTT(South Strip Transfer Terminal)

All of the free hotel shuttles in LV

If you travel light(carry on luggage) you can catch the CAT bus from McCarran airport to downtown for $1.25 - The #108 Paradise & #109 Maryland Parkway North bus stop at McCarran about every 6 minutes. Catch the bus at "Ground Level Transportation 0" McCarran AP. This can save you both time and money. A taxi or shuttle bus to downtown is pretty expensive. A wait in the taxi line can be longer than the 45 minutes it takes for the bus to get downtown. Shuttles leave the AP when they are full, and if your hotel is the last stop, it can take a while.

The Ace or Deuce buses. They are $3 each way or $7 for a 24-hour pass. And definitely DO NOT walk to/from the Nugget to the Strip. There are some pretty shady areas between Fremont St. and the area between the Sahara and the Stratosphere.
