There are parts of Nevada where it is licensed. Maybe in other places too, but Nevada is all I know about.
Yes, in parts of several countries it is legal and licensed. I have heard that this is true in parts of the Netherlands, Cuba and Thailand, but I again, this is just what I've heard.

Prostitution is not covered by federal law in the United States. That is handled at the state and local level. As far as I know, it is illegal everywhere except parts of Nevada.

I think it depends on where you are in America. Yes, it is a "licensed profession" in different countries. In America, prostitution has been alive and well in Las Vegas, Texas, Wyoming and parts of California. There are other places as well!

Only one state in two counties and even then restricted. they are licensed the women tested and condoms must be worn. i know this as the state is next to mine.
