Nope, they probably congratulated him, but they didn't condemn him.

He did not specifically compare the two to each other, only past events.
"Ellison's most controversial remarks were comparing the Bush administration strengthing the position of the Executive branch after the September 11, 2001 attacks with Adolf Hitler using the Reichstag fire to demand emergency powers that allowed him to suspend constitutional guarantees of freedom. Ellison said "It's almost like the Reichstag fire, kind of reminds me of that. After the Reichstag was burned, they blamed the Communists for it and it put the leader of that country [Hitler] in a position where he could basically have authority to do whatever he wanted. The fact is that I'm not saying [Sept. 11] was a [U.S.] plan, or anything like that because, you know, that's how they put you in the nut-ball box -- dismiss you."[112] After the speech he expanded on his comments in an interview with a reporter saying "In the aftermath of a tragedy, space is opened up for governments to take action that they could not have achieved before that." He pointed to the Iraq war and provisions granting greater arrest and surveillance powers within the USA PATRIOT Act as examples.[113]"
Therefore, Godwin's Law is not applicable in this case.

I am more concerned with the WH mouthpiece laughing at americans for not being able to get the admin to stop this war. Freedom of speech doesn't bother me, and I see many similarities myself between the two leaders. Ever heard the term 'homeland' since Nazi germany, before 9/11? Propagandized and fascistic tactics are the order of the day with Bush Co.

I guess that is resounding NO.
Liberals are their only little storm troopers who are out squash anyone who disagrees with them.
Like with the "Fairness Docterine"
Mr. Ellison has shown to me what Muslims think and liberals think about Bush by their silence.
Also the defense of his remarks here.

I was offended at first, but then I saw that he had filed impeachment charges against Cheney, so I will give him a pass this time.
