No, the philippines is not rich. In the 1990's the poverty rate was dramatically higher in the philippines than it's neighbors. Rates also affected by recent economic downturn in region.

I don't know much about the Philippines, but maybe you could answer that question by saying they're culturally rich. Research their music, language, food, practices, believes, dress, and such. That's the way I would tackle this question if I understand it correctly.

Rich in what? Money? Exports? Soil? Think this out for yourself, and see what it means to you. Then visit websites about Phillipines and find the information you seek based on what you decide :) Print off the pages you need to prove your points. :) best wishes!
