in the next 2008 elections, the only president that doesn't either prefer war nor abortion is Ron Paul. So, tell me, you're gonna vote for him, aren't you?

I like Ron Paul.

I like him more every day. Especially when people patiently, in an almost grandfatherly manner, tell me that I shouldn't like him.

I have always enjoyed having my own opinion, which quite often runs counter to the mainstream.

I get a TON of static for it. People really don't care for independent thinkers, anymore. I know I'm onto something, when everyone else thinks I'm crazy. ---like when I felt that Bush was simply a moronic warmonger, back in 2002.

If Bush is conservative, my @ss is a Chinese sewing machine.

Now, Ron Paul. HE is a true conservative.

No.

I don't see the connection between the two issues.

I think Ron Paul is a bit of a kook, and is the subject of a lot of kooky internet posts. More than anything, the obsessive Ron Paul message borad campaign has turned me off. He has only a slightly higher chance of becoming president than I do.

Not a chance that I'm voting for Ron Paul. I'll take both the ware AND abortion before I'd take him.

They have absolutely nothing in common.

Plus, you should do some more research on Ron Paul. He doesn't support abortion, but he would not abolish it. Rather, he wants topics like abortion to be left to State Law makers and not the Federal government.

But yes, I will probably vote for him if he makes it onto the ballot.

If for no other reasons than his stand against the continued insanity of our occupation of the entire world and his commitment to end the Federal Reserve and IRS grip on the American taxpayers' throats !!!

No, his stance on the war will prevent him from any consideration as the Rep candidate for the Presidency. So unless he runs as an independant, he will not be an option.

The two have nothing in common. I am against the war and pro choice so I don't think Mr. Paul will get my vote.

You have no idea of what you're talking about. Please state facts or stay off this site.

Nearly all forms of abortion are currently legal in nearly every state of the union.
