Most people I know want the latest phone..'oooh look what phone I've got..'
What do you think? Do you find this annoying?
My phone is the old Nokia 6200 - as long as it works well, can access email and store texts, I'm happy!

The mobile phone, per se, is a good example of something it's hard to imagine that we ever did without! But though the gadget itself if undeniably useful, even necessary, do we really NEED all the baffling array of extra features they keep trying to flog us? I think we are being taken for mugs!

Plain Jane mobiles that get and recieve calls, send and recieve texts, are useful in emergency situations. I get so annoyed with people who constantly pay more attention to their mobile than the people who they are meant to be enjoying some quality time with. What on earth did we do in the good old days?

My phone can't even access email. I do that at home.
I'm fine with a phone that can make calls and recieve text message...

It just plainly shows the being materialistic side of humans.
Humans are filthy creatures.
Most are but not all.
They or should I say we, are greedy and selfish...So it's natural to see/hear those kind of convserations though it's somewhat a sin...

I AGREE!!! I hate people talking on the phone at the beach the worst. YOU'RE AT THE BEACH for gosh sakes!
People are shallow and need self-gratification for the "stuff" they cannot afford.

tell me about it. i work in upgrades for o2 now and i hear it all the time. nowt like telling someone their nokia 6300 is top of the line though lol.

very annoying, if it hadnt been for my dad buying me my old nokia, i probably wouldnt have one, bragging about what phone you have is very superficial.
