Another example of abuse of executive powers using executive orders.
here is the trick...
YOU can now be arrested and detained Without charges being brought against you because they suspect you are a terrorist, etc...
Since no charges are brought against you, there is nothing to appeal.
Since there are no appeals, the supreme court will never have the chance to rule that executive orders are unconstitutional.
Unless the legislative branch passes something outlawing executive orders.. (and has enough backing to override an appeal) there is not much we can do to stop the tyrant.
Ron Paul, is the ONLY CANIDATE speaking out against the destruction of our constitutional rights.. HE is the ONLY one who will do something about preserving our freedoms.

this isn't to a procedures off objective. Bush at present has the means below the Patriot Act to droop the 2008 elections if the country is in a state of emergency (which we at present are). there's a superb kind of stuff he's been pushing by way of congress in wonderful print that many human beings are not responsive to. that's tremendously frightening with what he has carried out with our international image. u.s. isn't a democracy. that's a constitutional republic, a gadget the place the U.S. shape is the superb regulation and voters choose representatives to government. Democracy, by contrast, designates a gadget of government the place the want of maximum folk regulations, unrestricted via any regulation. The Founders of america of a went to massive measures to make certain that our new united states of america became no longer a democracy.

Our troops have been giving humanitarian assistance. Many Americans have openly with the encouragement of the Armed forces donated money and supplies for Iraqi children.
If there are terrorist living in your neighborhood and are plotting and planning some horrific terror attack-would you want to say no no no you can not go into their home or listen to their phone calls? What do you have to hide? I do not want to lose my freedom as a citizen either, but difficult times call for stricter measures. If this law is abused you can sue, many have already sued on similar situations and believe they get a lot of loving care from our media.

Isn't Bush the one who is "undermining efforts to promote economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq or to provide humanitarian assistance to the Iraqi people"?
I mean, 655 000 dead. That is a mass murderer!
For those concerned with how the war is managed: War is murder. You started the war, you support the war. You support murder. Not for defense, but for the plunder of Iraqi and Caspian oil. Complicit is the word. Responsible is another word. Responsible for genocide.... that's the phrase.
You want the war to be better managed? You want more Iraqis to be killed? You want more oil? Go ahead. Just don;t pretend that "they hate you because of your freedom".
They hate you because you are all merrily supporting yet another genocide.

HOLY ****.
The business about acts of violence or the contemplation of acts of violence is only a cover. It's really hard for an angry group of protesters to prove that they haven't been "contemplating" acts of violence. That's a dangerous shade of meaning.
Do any of you American Patriots know what it feels like to be burned alive? Think about it.
This was released because within the next six months, they are going to institute a draft.
If you think you can go to jail, guess again. They'll drag your *** off at the point of a gun.
And let's see how patriotic you guys feel when you're trapped inside a burning vehicle.
Oh-and it's also, as pointed out above, a way for the gun-toting goons to raise "taxes" to pay themselves and pay for the war.
Something they've been doing for some time.

Wow. Next thing you know he'll place an executive order against presidential elections, calling the change of power "a national security threat."
I think I may have to move to Canada.

You know, you read some of these responses.....from supposed "Americans" who were raised from birth with the concept of freedom....and it just makes you shake your head in awe. Wonder. Stupified disbelief.
Is there one among you who would stand up in public and say, out loud, that any American citizen is not free to speak out against or for anything they want to?

It says if they commit acts of violence or have financially supported acts of violence in order to destabalize the efforts there. This does not apply to someone just protesting the war.
If you are one of those who wants to burn our flag and say, "Bush sucks" (like half our senators) go ahead. The order does not apply to you. But if you are like CAIR and are found to be supporting the islamofacists there financially, the government might be knocking on your door.
There is a lot of legal mumbo-jumbo in it but a typical lib war protestor is safe from having his double-wide confiscated.
(Here's a thumbs-up American Pride)

I think they're talking about doing something tantamount to treason. I doubt that they're going to take your stuff if you hold up a sign that says "No war for oil."
