I'm convinced there must be.
Particularly in sado-masochistic love relationships.

The best and worst revenge you can ever give to the person or thing you love IS TO LOVE MORE! Otherwise, you were not really in love.
Remain great.

Possessive love can be highly revengeful and we human beings can not sustain the other type of love for long enough. A desire for revenge is often seen as the proof of the intensity of love!! Aren't we great?

In my opinion, not. If you LOVE somebody, that means you accept them despite their flaws and mistakes. If you are looking for revenge, then you haven't accepted. Without acceptance, there is no LOVE!
If you LOVE the person, you should be helping to put them back on the right track and be supporting them. THERE IS NO PLACE FOR REVENGE IN LOVE!
Regards :-)

The emotion of love in human heart is a heavenly discipline inculcated, whereas vengeance is a hell bound situation which drives human intent into deeds of destruction. Normally, love, and vengeance are diametrically opposed to one another, for a place that loves fill has no room or accommodation left vacant for anything else, but not even the gardens of paradise are safe from the infiltration of the evil. In this world love does get hurt and harmed and when it does it does seek vengeance but not for the sloe purpose to destroy, but to fulfil itself into the heart and mind. When the power of love eventually comes to seek vengeance upon what essentially is not love much is sacrificed at the alters of love: nobility, prestige, youth, beauty and power all are subdued and often extinguished so that love alone may reign supreme in the world. The fact is that the very existence of evil in this world is an act of vengeance against love, whereas love is an essential expression of the divinity that we know, at its best, as ourselves.

I think so. Hate is just as much a part of love. Revenge is just an expression of those feelings, and I think that it is part of the process of forgiveness.

Love is willing the good of the other as other and not as an extension of one's ego driven needs or desires. It would seem that revenge is the contrary of this understanding of love.

No. True love should be selfless. Revenge is motivated by selfishness.

Absolutely not. Love is forgiveness, love is understanding, love is open mindedness. The manifestation of revenge is impossible as long as love is present.
