Which tube stop and entrance to Kensington Gardens is closest? How do I find it? Do Kensington Gardens close gates at any point of the day/night?
Thanks

The Queensway tube stop pops up at the north end of Kensington Gardens - which is at the west end of Hyde Park. Queensway is on the Central line.

The Park does not close at any time per se, but it is inadvisable to be walking through alone after dark. FWIW, London is a relatively safe city, however Hyde Park was the scene of at least some famous deaths long ago, most notable Jack the Ripper.

If you stick to the perimeter areas of the park in the evenings, you will be safe.
