"Gals" is and inappropriate and condescending word to use when referring to black women, just so you know.

It's harder (I'm in one), but not impossible. There are always lots of differences in a marriage. This is just one more factor. And it is more about culture differences than color. And in America, there is always the "pain" factor from the past injustices.

However when someone says "I love black gals", then there is something wrong going on, because that says it is about skin color and probably about associated stereotypes, and that is wrong. Love should be about an individual and not a stereotype.
