It's as simple as this yo. Wake up! Do you want to live in an independent state ran by the majority or a dependent state ran by the minority? Ask any citizen in the United Kingdom or Canada how well their health care system works compared to the U.S. They'll all tell you the same thing. You may have an appointment at 10a.m and not be seen by a doctor till 10p.m or in some cases not be seen at all. When you need a simple surgery you may wait months for it. They also have cutoff ages where the government weighs the cost to benefit for older patients that may need something like heart surgery. Wouldn't you do whatever it cost to give your grandparents a chance at a few extra years rather than letting the government tell you it's best for the STATE to let their lives expire? Ask yourself, If foreign countries have it so right than why do their citizens flock to America to be treated by our doctors. This is exhausting! WAKE UP! It comes down to handling your own as opposed to letting others handle it for you. Remember that the governments driving force is money not your best interest. Study a little bit of history and don't be someone who just believes whatever they are told.

I don't bad mouth America, just the current admin. America and Americans are no better or worse than any other nation and people.
Think your list is a very inadequate way of trying to prove the usefulness of America tho.
Hollywood: It isn't on my list of what's important in life.
Coca cola: Have tried it but avoid it, far better soft drinks available.
Ford: Erm,......don't you think Karl Benz deserves more credit?
Democracy in Iraq and Afghanistan: That might be what YOU call it!
And as for Microsoft, Yahoo answers, Google and the Internet, we have Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace to thank for their existence. =)

I'm kind of on the fence with this question. I personally believe that bad mouthing is in the realm of the ignorant. I understand that when people disagree, they should speak their minds.
In my family, we have good and not so good people. We may talk about Crazy Aunt Sally or Stinky Cousin Phil amongst each other, but we don't spout it out to everyone we know.
I'd feel less bitter about people badmouthing my country if they had been equally vocal about the genocide in Rwanda & Bosnia, the slave trade, the stoning of women in Muslim countries, the practice of "honor" killings, and the deliberate targeting of civilians by terrorists.
These people are never outraged by terrorism. They are only outraged when terrorists are killed. I can only hope that the 72 virgins are hairy toothless hags.

Believe me most of us Americans really disagree with how our beautiful country is run.We get involved with things that have nothing to do with us. But what I'm saying is it is not the citizens it is the leaders.
