I sure do and its time to stop. Your party leaders are playing both sides having you focus on the other in a constant state of red vs. blue only to occupy your time and your minds. Politicians are on the side of politicians make no mistake about it. They get what they want done and have the media throw up some good story to steer you off the course of what they are really doing. So instead of bickering over the internet, the most useless action in all of history, use these medias as a way to make all political players held accountable. When Barrack O'Bama asks a question do not answer his question ask him a question. Even though most of these people are not leaders they still work for the people. Same goes for celebrities and journalists. Stop playing by the rules they made up and force them to play by a set standard of rules.

Train even though you are correct it really dosn't happen anymore. You vote for party first then you choose the best person for the job. Allegiance to the flag, even in my youth the importance of it was diminished. The teachers, by and large, view it as a monotonis routine and never really pay it the proper respect it deserves. Except for a few history teachers I had.

It is full of generalizations, I thought I would attract a diffrent crowd with this question and tried to keep it detail free for time. Since the majority of users do not read the whole question if it is too long.

I remember swearing allegiance to the flag in school, my country when I enlisted.... but , I don't remember an oath to any particular political party...I think the idea was supposed to have been .. VOTE FOR THE BEST CANDIDATE....NOT THE PARTY

Your rant is full of generalizations. I am a registered Democrat. I don't have a liberal bone in my body. Politicians do not persuade me with their words, but with their deeds. I vote for conservatives, even in Democrat primaries.

Ii don't.. I never have. I vote the issues.. and the man/woman that identifies closest with my thoughts.
i am true to myself and have no respect for those who vote one way or another just because their families have for the last hundred year.. how dumb is that?

It really is amazing. I am convinced that people here watch or listen to their favorite political commentary broadcasts and fall right "into line".
