you should add some color safe bleach to your boiling water to preserve their original colors.

Chlorophyll comes in all colors. The purple variety is not as sturdy as the green type. That is why the beans leach out the purple color, and the cabbage to a lesser extent. As was suggested above, try steaming them. Or, try blanching them. Thats, dropping them into a fast boiling pot of water for 3-5 minutes then plunge into Ice water. The color will 'fix' and you can Microwave ONCE right before serving for about 90 seconds.
Don't mention it, I didn't get all this fat I'm loosing by not knowing how to cook.

Peppermint Creams Ingredients: 400g icing sugar 1 egg white ½ lemon Peppermint essence Blunt knife, 2 bowls, cup and Saucer, sieve, wooden spoon, Rolling pin, 1 teaspoon STEP1: Sieve the icing sugar into a bowl. STEP2: Divide the egg into white and yolk using a cup and saucer. STEP3: Put the egg white into the sugar and mix. STEP4: Knead well with your hands. STEP5: Add a littele lemon juice and a few drops of peppermint essence. Knead again. STEP6: Pour a little sugar on top of the table. Roll the mixture into a sausage. STEP7: Using a blunt knife, cut the sausage into small sweets. STEP8: Arrange the sweets on a plate and allow to harden. STEP9: Enjoy!
