What did you take? If you took Tylenol, it probably won't do too much. The good news is that you can take Alleve (Naproxen) or Advil (Ibuprofen) along with Tylenol. Both are better choices for this type of pain. If you took Midol or some other "period" medication, they usually contain a mild muscle relaxant and Tylenol, so you can take Alleve or Advil with them, also. Be sure to check the label, though. You cannot take Alleve and Advil together. I have found that the best combination is Midol or Pamperin and Alleve. I can't take Advil due to sensitivities, but I've always preferred Alleve because it lasts longer. You take 2 tablets and it lasts for 12 hours. Advil only lasts something like 4 to 6 hours. Also, it is safe to take Alleve every 10 hours if the pain is really severe. Aspirin works, too, but is harder on your stomach. It, too, can be taken with Tylenol, but not with the other two. Just make sure that if you take any "combo" medications that you check the label and see what, exactly, is in it so that you do not duplicate medications.Good luck!
If you start noticing this is a pattern, and the cramps are unbearable, talk to your doctor. There are things they can give you.

pass outdoors and get some excersize previously the honest. i understand you likely experience like crap, yet believe me, easy excersize reduces the soreness. Take a medium velocity bike trip, swim some slow laps, or in simple terms choose for a rapid paced walk. It somewhat enables cramps. a rapid collectively as previously you reside, take some extra potential Midol. in case you have no longer have been provided that, then Advil, Tylenol, etc. in college in the experience that your cramps are that undesirable that day, in simple terms say you forgot your wellness club outfits or pass to the nurse and tell her what's up. it could be embarrassing however the nurse is there for that kind of factor! i'm particular she would provide you suggestion and excuse you from wellness club. In 8th grade I had a tremendously strict male wellness club instructor and whilst my friends and that i had era issues, we'd pass with one yet another to the nurse.

I suggest putting some hot water in a water bottle, and keeping it on your lap. Dont burn yourself of course! Also take another pain pill, like a midol. Or go to the store and get those stick on heating pads, they really do make a difference. Try to focus on work the best you can. The worst should blow over in a few hours. Goodluck.

I usually take Tylenol, Aleve and use cura-heat heating pads (stick on ones...walgreens has them) those are the warmest and the thinnest and they last like 12 hours. Try to take something as soon as the pain starts, if you continue to get cramps each month then start taking Aleve or something about a day before you expect to get your period and continue till you think the cramps will be over, when you start taking them as soon as the pain starts or before it starts it works better.

Take another pain pill, hopefully it is something specific to menstrual cramps, with a hot drink, like tea, or lemon water, not necessarily coffee. and hopefully, if you are miserable enough, your boss may send you home early, but you still gotta come in the next day. Real women DO.

Drink some hot tea. And have a litlle chocolate. The heat from the tea will help sooth the cramps if you don't have a heating pad. And the chocolate will comfort you. It helps me.

have you got a fan heater? aim that at your feet or close to your stomach, this will have a hot water bottle effect.
other than that take 2 ibuprofen, its an anti-inflammatory so wil reduce the cramps.
hope this helps!
