I had the exact same problem with my husband.. Mine was not as bad as yours because we are not to the fifth yet.. Ours would have been a Jr. My husband and I finally set down to talk and he decided that it would be unfair if we had another son becuase he may feel left out not getting to share his fathers name as well.. So what we decided to do is change our sons first name and then give him my husbands first name for his middle name.. For example: My husbands name is James Eugene and my sons name is going to be Caden James... Then if we have another son he may get the middle name of Eugene.. This is a really hard situation but hopefully you will come to a decision.. Just don't let your boyfriend pursue you into using his name if you don't want.. Try to talk with him and maybe you will come to a conclusion.. Good Luck and Congrats..

Congrats on the baby!!!! So maybe you can change out the names so you both have picked out a name for the baby..ex. You can pick the first name and he picks the middle or the reverse.. As long as you both compromise
How about:
Albert Tyler
Albert Michael
Watson Tyler
Watson Michael
Tyler Albert
Tyler Watson
Michael Albert
Michael Watson

Watson's not that bad for a middle name. Middle names are not a big deal really, they're only used for medical records, school records, and etc. But Albert's quite "outdated." When I first read it, the first person to come to my mind was Albert Einstein, so I think you should change the Albert and keep the Watson. Tyler Watson and Michael Watson both sound pretty good. But for the first names, try to stay away from names that end in "son" or "ton" that would rhyme with Watson. It just kinda sounds bad together. Hope this helps =)!!

Maybe it's time for the line of Albert Watson's to stop. Five in a family seems to be more than enough, IMO. As other have suggested maybe use Albert or Watson with Tyler or Michael. A nice compromise, I think. Tyler Watson or Tyler Albert, maybe? Or Michael Watson or Michael Albert.
Good luck convincing your BF!!

Well, I like both names. I really think it is a nice homage to his family to name the baby Albert Watson the 5th. I would go with that! My baby's names are after people in my family, too! Tyler Michael is also very nice. Yet, I am thinking that Tyler is actually more popular today than Albert. You could nickname him Alby or Al. Well, I hope this helps! Good luck and congrats on your baby to be! : )

Tyler Watson?? Albert Michael?? There has to be a way to combine what you both want to name the child that you both made. :)
Think of that baby as a perfect combination of the two of you...you should have a perfect combination in the name as well.

I think that it is a wonderful tradition! To be the 5th Albert Watson in a long family lineage is an honor in my mind! Why not go with Albert Watson Micheal...and then your last name?

i am currently 7 month pregnant and i feel your pain. my fiance wants to name our son after his grandfather...Robert Dewey....however, we agreed before i was pregnant that if we had a boy we would name him Robert (his pick) Isaiah (my pick). i don't really like the way robert isaiah sounds together but i love the name isaiah so i agreed. now that the birth of our son is only 2 months away he is trying to go back on our agreement. by the way he never even met his grandfather as he died before my fiance was born. we also have a 4 year old daughter whose name we couldn't agree on (i wanted Alanna Nicole, he wanted Alanna Elaine...he won)
i know i have turned your question into my complaint...BUT...Iike i told my fiance, if at the time of delivery if the parents are not married they don't ask the father for the baby's name, they (the people that come to fill out the birth certificate) only ask the mother.
it would be nice to come to some sort of agreement beforehand, but if not remember the decision is yours. What about Albert Tyler or Albert Michael, then you both win.
