It was not a "natural" occurnce because it was caused by mans invention. A tube system full of steam. The same thing happend in 1989 ( i believe the yr is correct) pressure builds and a vapor lock occures were the steam can not escape and creates a steam "bomb". It finds the weakest spot in the pipe and KABOOM!

properly, that the US has bombed harmless human beings is undeniable. In international war II, case in point, as properly tens of hundreds of German and jap civilians, who ought to arguably be seen "non-harmless" via fact that they have been component to the enemy u . s . a . (even inspite of the indisputable fact that i might disagree), the US additionally bombed easily harmless French, Belgian, Dutch, Moroccan, Algerian, Tunisian, Filipino, etc., civilians. and don't even get me all started on Iraq, the place many of the harmless people who've been killed, and there have been tens of hundreds, have been killed, not by ability of insurgents or terrorists, yet mostly by ability of American bombs (and shells). to whether the US has bombed harmless international locations, that relies upon upon your definition of harmless. by ability of my definition, that is an unqualified "definite," and others, which includes Garrison, have coated this already. in spite of the shown fact that, i've got faith that, for the Joes of the international, if the US bombs a rustic it particularly is by ability of definition not harmless. this is form of like that assertion by ability of President Nixon that when the President does some thing, which ability this is not unlawful. initiating interior the twentieth Century, the share of civilian to protection stress casualties in war began to upward push, and with international war II it skyrocketed. via fact that then, in maximum wars approximately ninety% of the casualties have been civilian. i'm not saying that the US is intentionally focused on civilians. yet whether you're or not, once you drop a 5-hundred-pound bomb right into a crowded city community attempting to take out some terrorists or insurgents, there is not any question which you'll be killing non-warring parties as properly. And once you do this many times, via fact the US has performed and is doing, you'll be killing a great form of non-warring parties.

neither. Just a ruptured steam pipe.

However...I have to say...it was pretty damn impressive. With a flow of that magnitude - i'm guessing the steam had to come straight from something like a power plant boiler.

What happened there was a steam pipe burst and released tons of steam, so it was neither natural or terrorism, just lack of maintanence, or neglect.
