After a while, almost everything gets old.
If you are doing things that risk health and sanity, then yes, you need to slow down. Especially with health. Your sports injuries will come back to haunt you, leaving you feeling old before your time.
Better to plan for the future now, when you can do something about it, as opposed to having to deal with problems as they arise and not be able to do anything.

Only you can answer that. But I can tell you from experience, their is no greater joy than hearing you child say, daddy or momma. I'll also tell you that there is no better feeling than coming home after a hard day of work, to a loving wife, and if your really lucky, your kids. You see the only thing your missing is the purpose your here for, to have a family of your own. Be fruitful and multiply. You see the only reason you are here is to find someone to love, that loves you, to spend the rest of your lives together and have children to express that love. EVERYTHING else is a waste of time and effort. How fun is it really living a "anything goes life" all alone?

Do you feel like you're going to burn out any time soon.? Are you a senior trying to compete with some young men? Are you a young, young man trying to live as hard and fast as you can so you don't "miss" anything?
Really, if you are experiencing health issues related to your fast life style then you should re-evaluate your activities. Common Sense. Asking the question is a small indicator of how you are feeling inside. Listen, live, learn and keep sane.

You have your whole life ahead of you. I say, slow down a bit so you can enjoy your life with good health. I always rationalize that what I missed is not really for me. If it was, I wouldn't have missed it. Either that or I would have striven harder to attain it.

You don't make this choice consciously... it just happens.
