Great question... my Star!!

The dividing line, in my opinion, becomes clear in the case of a failure.... self pride gets hurt and aims to rectify through future success, but ego negates the failure by cooking up excuses.

I do think there is a difference. Self pride is a knowledge that you are a good person and have accomplished things in life. Ego is taking that self pride and telling everyone that you think you are the best. Ego is putting yourself above others and having the belief that what you have done is what no one else can do.

Pride is an action of the ego. The ego is the collection of memories and ideas that you call 'I'. Both are imagined.

Yes. Everyone should love themselves and have a healthy respect for who and what they are. I am not talking about conceit. Everyone has an ego or ID, which is simply being aware of oneself and his or her surroundings. Inflated ego is thinking you are better than you really are and is a visual and vocal affront to all. Blessings on you.

nicely, i think of that self-satisfaction is in simple terms being optimistic or chuffed approximately your awareness. human beings do have the nicely suited to experience good approximately themselves each and every especially circumstances. in spite of the undeniable fact that, to no longer the factor the place you will possibly bypass marching around telling each and every physique which you are the main suitable in this and that. individually, i think of that satisfaction and ego are linked in a fashion. i think of that an ego is the unfavourable fringe of satisfaction, whilst somebody will become too overconfident approximately his or her awareness. those are in simple terms my very own strategies on your question.
