Alot of teams today have a ***** Leagues day that they play a game honoring the players who never were given the right to play in a professional baseball game.
Would it be right for a white guy to wear a jersey or a hate honoring them. Or would it just be like throwing gas on a flame, that people would prefer to not remember.
I wish that I could, but don't know if it is wrong for me to.
Thanks.

MLB is honoring the players that played in the old ***** Leagues when they have these "throw back" days. Of course, there will always be those few that will see it another way but it is intended to be a good thing for black and white players alike to remember and honor those past players and teams that are part of the heritage of baseball.

Your wording leaves something to be desired, but if I'm deciphering your question right, these commemorative events are there for everyone and anyone to enjoy & appreciate.
Between 1899, when the Cubs' Cap Anson refused to bring his team out on the field unless Moses Fleetwood Walker was removed from the game, and 1947 when Jackie Robinson entered the majors, Organized Baseball forgot that the game was meant to be played and enjoyed by everyone. Major League Baseball deprived itself and the fans an opportunity to see many great players such as Josh Gibson, the only man to hit a ball completely out of Yankee Stadium, or Satchel Paige in his prime.
Major League Baseball already had a problem with hating to honor great players while they were still playing.
Cap Anson's exact words were "Get that ni**er off the field!"

Yes there were many unequal rights and unfairness (to say the least) in history. My opinion, by the "white" guys wearing the uniform or hat it shows that yes even though they are a different color that they understand and respect the significance of the league. Please don't take it as throwing gas on the fire. It’s meant as respect. The players today (the people today) are for the most part not the same ones that were mistreating African Americans years ago. Please take it as a sign of respect.

( jersey or a hate honoring them - my guess this was meant to be 'hat', ironic that you spelt 'hate')

I would say you would have a point, if these 'white' players of today had been responsible for their segregation in the first place.

But they weren't

I would hope players of today realize that no matter what shade of brown you are (since there really are no white people, nor black people), actions and intent make the person, not their skin tone.
I believe most of them do, perhaps not John Rocker, but most know that it's a game that you need talent for, not talent and light skin.
