I think it's way too early to say, at this point, who will win. Anything could happen. India has brilliant senior players who are hungry for records and milestones, as this may be their last tour of England. England has Panesar who will be trying his best to live up to the expectations and attention he has been getting in the papers recently. Then there is Pieterson, who is such a strong batsmen.
India's bowling may become a weak point, if today's play is anything to go by, but it'll depend on the picth at each ground. Then again, England are missing their best bowlers; Harmison and Flintoff.
Whoever wins the first test will get a boost in their confidence, which is always an advantage. I hope India wins though :-)
And I also hope it doesn't rain!

In the bowling department both teams are relatively inexperienced. But in batting India has the advantage. Hence India will win, if they get their basics right.
