I've heard that there are many different ways to spell 1 kind of name.

Since I'm expecting a girl in August and want to name her
"Christy".
But, I want to spell it really differently.
Is there lots of different ways to spell that name?
If so, please do tell

Just remember that if you get to different with the spelling it may be hard for your future child to spell it. She also might have to help teachers pronounce it and that may be aggravating for her and the teacher. Yet, here are some alternative spellings of Christy:
Christi, Christie, Chrysti, Chrystie, Chrysty, Kristi.

Of the above I like Christie and Kristi and Christi; the other ones have too many "y's"! Yet, it is your decision : ) Good luck and congrats on your soon to be daughter!!! : ) My baby girl's name is spelled a little differently: Rylee (instead of Riley).

I like different spellings, too....but not too off the wall. It makes it difficult for the child. And sometimes even looks unprofessional on a business card. I like different spellings that still look fairly normal and classy.

Try:

Kristee
Christee
Cristie

Hope this helps = )

I think spelling it Kristi makes it look very feminine and cute, plus it's not soooo odd that people won't be sure how to pronounce it.
