If there is an ID, I would try to find the owner and return it...
(One can only hope for a reward)

No ID, It must be my lucky day!!

Buy the best chronic I could find.

If there was ID in the wallet I'd mail back everything except the cash so the owner wouldn't have to cancel cards and memberships. Perhaps I'd slip a bud in there too.

I would do my best to return it to the rightful owner. And I have already found a wallet which had $700.00 cash in it. I did return it and the guy gave me $100.00 cash reward.

Honestly this is tempting... But most probably i will return to the police station because:

It is dishonest to take what does not belong to us...
The owner might be needing the cash urgently...
Put yourself in others' shoes. If you are the owner, and you lost the cash, how would you feel? Of course you will be hoping that someone who found the cash will return to you and not take it away =p.

For the above reasons, i think i will not take the cash =p.

palms down, return the wallet with each and every of the money nevertheless interior. Did that as quickly as and the guy gave me 50.00 in simple terms because of the fact he became happy that i became easy, and for the shown fact that he did not would desire to subject approximately his identification being stolen, or credit being broken. So it does pay to be easy!

I would check for ID, and try to locate the owner. If I couldn't find that person, then I would take it to the police dept. No. I would not keep the cash no matter how tempting it would be.

Shopping spree. Whoever dropped the wallet, if they truly wanted to keep that money, they would've been extra careful with it. Sucks for them. New stuff for me.
