[Laughing] I remember at Charles Helou there used to be taxis and big buses, shouting whenever someone passes by "Sham..? Sham...?" (i.e. going to Damascus, Damascus?)
or "Halab? Halab?" ....
so you could take Direct "Yellow" taksi to "Halab" and connect from there... ;-)

or ask if LE BOSSU Express (AHDAB Express or may be the name changed) goes beyond the borders, sometimes they used to, once per week or something.
