What about: Willingness? Oftentimes many people do have these abilities but not the willingness to act and miss out on the reward of helping others. Example-Many millions of dollars go into the Lottery but it should be called Losery instead. The millions could go to helping the poor or building hospitals or funding collage Education for the kids who have no way of helping themselves and so on but people think I'm the next big winner of the Jackpot but time and time again they come away a loser and so does the needy.

Yes, it is looking for those opportunities to help in a given situation, such as offering to babysit for a couple who have little or no support from family, once a month so that they can go and have an evening out alone. For this could save a marriage.
Making a meal for someone who has visitors coming to stay for a period of time, to relieve the host, and be able to spend more time with the visitors.
Spending time with a newly bereaved person, who is hurting, maybe offering to take them out for an afternoon, and giving them the opportunity to talk about their grief.
These are all practical ways we can help. We should always be looking to use our imaginations to help others, for the sake of the Gospel.

If we are in tune with what God wants us to do we have many talents and atributes thast can be used when the time is right. I know personally that I have to be very careful because my own children will walk all over me when they need a little help. I guess this is true for anyone. We need to be careful that what we are doing is helping ant enabling a bad situation to continue or get worse. Sometimes we need to get someon e started in the right direction and then push them along without doing for them. I have volunteered at the local food bank and been there when someone needs an ear or a shoulder to cry on. I try to listen to what God wants me to do and ready to act on his behalf. I can then say I only did what God wanted me to do. If you want to repay me repay Him and help sonmeone else.

In view of the recent developments in my community, the answer that came to mind is each of us need to warn todays children of the dangers of a certain game called passout, or hangman. there are a lot of other names this game has. I have emailed some of my friends about this game and I even found a source of the news in the internet. It seems children are playing this so called "game" for the thrill of passing out. I have listed the source below.

Ramjet did something last week that was really uplifting...she asked everyone to make a period or word to get a place in "line" and then she had everyone go back and say something positive about the person who had answered ahead of them. It was very uplifting. I think I'll try it later when I have more time.
