That is probably one of the most stressful things that you can do in life. Then it is a hassle for as long as you own it. It is worth it, however. Just be patient now, and take your time unpacking and decorating when you get it.

Here's a hint. Take an area out of the way to stack your boxes in groups according to the rooms they belong in. Then each day take some of the boxes and unpack. This will eliminate some of the chaos that moving can create. By not having the boxes scattered all over the house, you will be able to move around more efficiently.

So many times when we make a finacial commitment it can be overwhelming. You are nervous about it all but once you get in your new home and know that you are working towards this you will develope a since of pride in yourself. Going to work will be more of a rewarding experience for you because you will have something to show for your hard work and you will start feeling like a million dollars. It's a big step but you'll be okay. Best Wishes!

I purchased a home by myself. It was the best thing I ever did besides having my Children.Yes, it was stressful but, the first night I slept in my new home was one of the best nights sleep I ever had.

I worked my butt of on that house.I enjoyed every minute of it.The years I owned that home where some of the best years of my life.I miss that home more than ever.I had to move due to circumstances beyond my control.I think about that home everyday and Thank God for the time I spent in it.I hope you enjoy your new home as much as I did.

Hi Ariel,
Buying a house is about the most stressful thing that you can do in your life (specially if this is your first time). Just be cool and calm and tell yourself that if the house is meant for you it will be yours and the stress will lift a little.

Don't worry honey, you'll be just fine!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!

You will love it! There's nothing better than home ownership!
I was the same way when I bought my first house. I was a wreck. Here I am 11 years later and almost mortgage free!
So much better than throwing rent money out the window every month.
Take pride in your accomplishments. You've earned them.
Good luck with your new home .... I'm sure all will go well.

If buying a house was easy everyone would own one.

This is a project that tries everyone's patience.

Rest easy in the knowledge that your time was well spent.

One piece of advice though. Do not let anyone talk you into anything. If it does not make sense to you don't do it.
