Why do Ernie & Bert have thier own apartment and the other muppets live in the street or in garbage cans, or in a nest in the alley?

wow that is a real good question. i have a better one how can a short red monster that was just invented a little over 20 years ago can just come and manipulate the entire show without any regards to the other characters?

P.S. how do you make gummi worm soup?

That is a mystery I have wondered upon since I was a 3 year old child.
I asked my mom dozens of times and she said it was because ernie and bert wanted more privacy.

It's because now Sesame Street is located in a gay ghetto in San Francisco, adjacent to the Teletubbies Park.
