I am on yaz and I don't start my period until the last white pill. So I would wait before you freak out until after you have finished the first months all together. Not to mention it takes time for your body to regulate with you get put on medication.

As long as you were using condoms for the first 7 days as directed then there should be no problem. If not then do a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side. If it comes out negative then it's probably just because your hormones are all over the place and it usually takes around 3 months for it all to settle down when you have started a new pill.

I had implant and took it out after a year ( suppose be 3)..went on yasmin and had some sort of brown liquid coming out so stopped using it and went for injection following month. Its ok, although i dont have periods. I think most contraceptions cause that though..I dont think its very healthy and in long term I think it affects the ability of gettin pregnant. But what other options do we have?

If you were amenorrheic ( had no periods) on the depot injection, and went straight on to the pill 12 weeks after your last injection, this might still be due to the injection. It can take another month or so to wear off.

I am on this pill too. I have done three months on it and have been absolutely fine. I know you are worrying but please don't. If I take my last tablet on the Wednesday then I don't usually come on my period until the Saturday/Sunday! I wasn't like that with my last pill so it must be something to do with Yasmin.

Very probably - I was on it and had to stop taking it because I felt just how you described, and it became so severe that I was getting migraines every day and full on depression, so I think you should go back to the doctor and change to a different pill again. Good luck!

It can take a few days for the period to start up. If it doesn't come by next week I would recommend talking to your doctor to see what they recommend.

They always say that this first month or two when you have switched meds is always a little weird. But if you are worried, you should talk to your doc.
