What a great question! I would have to say the hardest thing to control is my bladder. I really don't have a temper, believe it or not. Much that affects me rolls off like water off a duck's back. As for lust, I do, but that is tempered by love and discipline. Unnecessary spending? Gotta have extra money for that so that's out! My blabbering mouth? Nope. I only confide in 2 or 3 people who are very reliable at keeping things confidential. If I have very personal issues, I go to one person--my fiancee'. My bladder? I'm not there in age yet where it has become uncontrollable.

I will order them from easiest to hardest:
1.Lust- To me, there is one person that I have eyes for... and I married him so I can have him anytime I want him! =)
2.Temper- I'm a pretty in control person when it comes to my temperment.
3.Unnecessary spending- I don't really think I do, but my husband does! lol
4.Blabbering Mouth- Everyone says I talk alot
5.Bladder- This would be the HARDEST thing for me! I went to bed at 1:30 am and before 2:45 am I was up 5 times to use the bathroom!!! Usually I'm just up once every hour but last night for some reason, I didn't sleep because I spent the night walking back and forth from bed to toilet! Now I'm sleepy!

It has always been my nasty TEMPER.
That is the only time my mind does not seem to have any grip whatsoever on my emotions. I am a firm believer of "mind over matter"; and lust, spending and blabbering are things very much within my control.
But somehow the monstrous thing that resides deep within my consciousness would always find ways to raise its ugly head and scare those hapless victims of mine.
And I would always end up feeling so sick and angry at myself for failing, time and again, to keep the monster away from the surface. I hate the monster. I hate saying hurtful things.
But the thing I hate most is when I see the hurt or tears in another's eyes, and I was the sole cause of them.
And I keep trying to put blame on an imaginary monster, or the evil twin. But there are no such things, are they? The monster was me. I am my own evil twin in these circumstances. So what should I do?
Could you help me? It's the only thing that I hate about myself, my vicious, ugly temper......
And oh, you have a good day/evening too, Enki.

It is Lust induced fury that was triggered by the uncontrollable spending of this blabbering mouth person that I knew to have a bad bladder.
But all in all I would go with Temper.

I would say that my Temper is the hardest to control, because I can be a passive person, but if I see someone hitting an innocent Baby, just for crying, at the Mall, or Grocery store, while shopping is when I let go of my anger, and there is no stopping me, in telling the Mother or dad, off. I have even called the Police from my cell phone when I see a Baby being battered by its Mom.

My BLADDER... hence the fact that it's 5 am and I'm wide awake, because I had to wake up and empty the stupid thing an hour ago and couldn't get back to sleep! At least that's better than when I was a kid and wet the bed every night... for WAY longer than I'd like to admit... but it's still pretty dang annoying... grrrr...
In the other 4 areas I actually think I'm doing pretty OK... so I guess I'm still blessed, in the grand scheme of things. :)

Lust is the hardest control, and the root of the other
disvirtues. People always act out of motives even if
they aren't fully aware of those motives. Lust being
the most self-wanting motive can be the most deceptive
and excusing motive. Of course, lust is not excusing,
but that doesn't stop people from trying to put forth
that argument. I state that lust can be deceptive
because people might have the self-righteous lust
for claiming justification of controlling people who
don't know what is best for them.

I used to have an uncontrollable temper, but I managed to get a handle on that. I love to talk, so the mouth thing hit close to home. I am definitely not a spender; hard to spend what you don't have. My lust wins the prize. It has a mind of it's own and is constantly reminding me of the control it exerts over my life. It can cause my mind to dwell on things unimaginable. But then I have to ask myself, am I trying to control my lust or am I playing with it like a trusted friend?
