Ok. I'm getting a new pc for multimedia such as High-Definition Video Editing, listening to music, browsing the web, watching videos, and playing games like World of Warcraft (WOW). I just need to know if this is sufficient enough.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+
2GB PC5400 DDR2
400GB SATA II 7200RPM
DVD+RW/-RW DL Lightscribe
Blu-Ray Drive
Sparkle GeForce 8600GT 256mb GDDR3 HDCP enabled

Is it good? If it isn't what can I change? It doesn't need to be extreme. I know what I need for extreme. But i'm not good at main stream.

It is more than enough for your needs and it is SO GOOD that's why I just bought myself an 8600GT too today. Its PureVideoHD technology is capable of taking the load of H.264 decoding by itself.

It is better than a 7600GT in games and plenty of OC headroom.

Perhaps you should be the one to get the 10 points, not me.

Yes. but if you want a slight speed advantage in games add a small drive 30gig. The larger drives have a longer seek time and usually a lowwer ata(data transfer rate) Set on ide or a differant sata drive controller. This will give you 2 operating system one explicitly for games. Copy your games to the small drive. As the systems are on differant drives neither will be affected if the other one has a problem.

A Blu-Ray Drive is nice but it is very costly at the moment. I would suggest you remove that and use the money and spend it on a better graphic card like the 8800 series (both GTS or GTX are fine, your call).

A few years down the road when Blu-Ray drive costs less and more companies are using it, then it is still not too late to get it.

Excellent config... maybe u can get a graphics card with atleast 512 mb to go along instead of the 256 ... get an 8800 series card.
