CTV In US?

Do people who live on the u.s canada border get canadian channels like ctv?

just wondering becuase I have heard this but assumed not.

Actually, we do. In Buffalo, it is available over the air through antenna, but it also is on our cable system.

Usually cable companies carry stations that can be picked up normally. (There are exceptions in Buffalo, as only CBC and CTV are on; Hamilton and Global are not.) The dishes are under no such obligation to Canadian stations.
