It's understandable and normal to feel you want to give up during a low point in your life when you're not feeling very strong. At those times, sometimes the best way to cope is to accept the situation rather than fight it, until such time as you are feeling stronger. Often a certain situation is a problem because our attitude to it MAKES it a problem. In other words, like most things in life, it is a CHOICE we make - whether to look at something as an insurmountable problem or whether to take a more laid-back view and tackle it step by step, moving slowly but nevertheless progressing forwards. Put yourself in the position of being your own best friend, don't be hard on yourself, look after yourself a little bit. You don't have to give up, just give yourself a break, and when you feel stronger you'll know the answer to your question. x x x

Stubborness. Remember that the support of society only goes so far. The rest is up to you. Kurt Vonnegut quoted a motto about knowing the fights you can win and the ones you have to let roll by. Here in the UK the "Labour Party Survey" repeatedly abused those opponents with repeated cals. Can you fight them? They arranged an extra 30,000 British premature deaths with Bernie Ecclestone for money. Only if you are very stubborn and know what is at stake is important.

Depends. Is it something worth fighting for? If it is, take a break from it, relax your mind, get charged. When you're ready, keep fighting for it. If it's not worth fighting for, just give up. Life's too short, hon.

i think of the things and people that keep me going
for example knowing that i have the rest of my life to look forward to and it would be a waste if i gave up now
and my family and friends. i wouldnt want to cause them the pain- altho i wouldnt b feeling any they would and i think that would be a little selfish of me to do.
