vga - intel onboard 965

monitor needs 1440X900 resolution. but that option is not available with vga.

The graphics card you have cannot support the resolution required.You could try to update the drivers for the graphic card but I would not hold much hope.you would need a new graphics card or you will have to live with a reduced resolution setting on your monitor.

First try this, in desktop, right click go to properties, on that settings, in advance toolbar, you will see 4 tabs general, monitor, adapter, color management. In that you will go to monitor and select that colore refresh rate, there you will see them in hertz only. Try with all these and if you are unable to get through this. Then you need to reinstall your display drivers. For support contact intel website by seraching in google.co.in, just type intel desktop support

Intel 965 chipset should support widescreen modes. Make sure you have the latest drivers. Desktop drivers you should get from either the Intel website or your system/motherboard manufacturer. Laptop drivers need to come of the system manufacturer's website.

You need to install a Agp card in the system then you will get the option,.
