So I'm not sure what you mean is (3/5)x = 15 or 3/(5x) = 15. I will do both. The first case you want to get only x on the left side so you need to get rid of 3/5 next to x so you multiply both side with 5/3 which is opposite of 3/5. So you have:
(5/3) X (3/5)x = 15 X (5/3) from this you get 1 X x = 25 so you get x = 25.
In the second case you have 3/(5x) = 15 again you want only x on one side and all the other numbers on the other side. You flip both sides of the equation and you get:
(5x)/3 = 1/15
then to get rid of 5/3 on the left side you multiply both sides with 3/5 and you get:
(3/5) X (5x)/3 = 1/15 X (3/5)
This will give you:
1 X x = (1X3)/(15X5)
So you will get x = 0.04

Easy if the problem is 3 over five x then
times both sides by 5x to get
3=15*5x
3=75x
then divide both sides by 75 to get
3/75=x or x= 1/25
Proof
3/(5*1/25)= 3/(5/25) = 3/(1/5) =15

The simplest would be to multiply both sides of the equation by 5/3 (the opposite reciprocal which when multiplied by 3/5 would give you 15/15, or 1). So 15 times 5/3 would equal 75/3, or 25

divide the 3.5 by it's reciprical and multiply 5/3 to 15 so x is alone. so like this
3/5x=15
(3/5 divided by 5/3)x =15
x= 15 times 5/3
x=25

actually you have to do this:
5x times 3/5x= 15 times 5x
so then the 5x gets canceled on the left side and you multiply the right side by 5x also:
3= 75x and then you try to get the x by itself so you divide both sides by 75 and you end up with
3/75=x and if you simplify you end up with
1/25=x

taking the reciprocal of this we get 5x/3=1/15
now, multiplying both sides by 3,we get 5x=1/5.next dividing both sides by 5, we get x=1/25

if your equation is (3/5)x=15 then:
first you multiply both sides by 5 to get:
3x=15*5
3x=75
then you divide both sides by 3
x=25
if your equation is 3/(5x)=15 then:
multiply both sides by 5x
3=15*5*x
3=75*x
then divide both sides by 75
x=1/25
