We all are ruled by all three. It depends on the timing and situation. I was probably ruled by passion and emotion when I proposed to my wife but not common sense. (Hehe, that's a joke honey, if you read this) I use common sense when I have to pee, but there is no passion or emotion to do it. So, it all depends on when and where. But none of us is void any of those 3 characteristics. Some just have more than others in different situations.

Ohh I don't have much common sense. I almost accidentally set fire to a chinese restaurant I was at last week.
Is the difference between passion and emotion that passion is more spur-of-the-moment? I worry about things often but I just like to do whatever I feel like at that moment without planning too far ahead.

I think I'm ruled by all three and that's not necessarily a good thing. LIke, when I'm driving, I should be ruled by common sense, right? except sometimes if someone's driving like an idiot, emotion takes over, which is very, very dangerous b/c it can lead to road rage. I guess that means you want to be the one in control over which of these three things rules YOU.
