I was totally blown away by Robert Altman's 'The Player', and then he came out with 'Short Cuts', and I thought, man, this guy can do no wrong.... aside from great scripts, he gets a star-studded ensemble cast... So when I heard about 'Pret-A-Porter', I thought to myself that it is going to be an absolutely fantastic movie....
What a colossal pile of stinking, rotten horse manure... what a waste. The only redeeming thing about it is a marginally enjoyable soundtrack.

Inception. I know I'll probably get a lot of thumbs down for this but whatever. All of my friends told me it was great and I was so excited to see it. I saw it and thought it was a lackluster story that was overly-convoluded and unnecessarily-complicated. I understood what was going on, this wasn't an issue of me not getting it and I didn't hate it, I just think the film was way overrated.

OMG i cant believe im saying this because George Lucas is like a god to me..... but i was dissapointed with Star Wars Phantom Menace, loved Darth Maul and Obi-wan, but think anakin and JAR-Jar bloody Binks ruined it, and the ending was to much like Return of the Jedi, but it was only bad because all the other Star Wars films were so good, and i expected too much (still love it really- just my least fave Star Wars film.lol)

"The Cat in the Hat"
Who knew the talented Mike Myers could be so unfunny? Everything was either very forced [in a wretched Jim Carrey way] or utterly bizarre [the sets and costumes].
I left after twenty minutes.

Yes twice - both oldies. The French Lieutenants Woman - supposed to be a master piece, so excruciatingly dull and pointless you wanted to scream. The other was the English Patient now my daughter loves this film so I suppose when it comes down to it it's a matter of taste.
