the pill that makes you so happy you can kill yourself. i think it gives them the clarity to do what they were going to do anyway. and thats very sad. suicide is never the answer.

No, I dont. Commiting suicide takes a lot of energy and effort. When ppl who are severly depressed finally get put on the right anti depressant meds with the correct dosing, they start to feel better and gain back some of their energy that they have lost. It is not uncommon to hear family members of suicide victims say "I thought they were doing so much better now that they got put on the anti depressants," which is b/c they start to gain back the energy needed to carry out the suicide. The best therapy for depression is a combination of both talk therapy and meds.

it can cause suicidal feelings with intent to follow through.
(in some people it can, but everyone and every antidepressant is different)
i take anti-depressants and for the most part i'm fine

yes and no. my friend was just depressed so her doctor put her on Zoloft. and a few weeks later she said, she was starting 2 feel suicidal and ended up killing herself. her parents are researching the same thing.

Hard to say.Ive taken some that,to me,made my life worse than it was before I took them.
I've been on Wellbutrin for several years and dont feel that way now.WB is great =0)

with it been seen more and more in teenagers, I think there is some type of connection, and something needs to be done about it, either weaker doses if they have no choice about medication, or start working on a better non-medication therapy
