Most of these are rock/hard rock. Barlow Girl and Casting Crowns are a little softer.

SuperChick.

People have told me that Switchfoot is a Christian band but I haven't seen them being promoted this way. I'm wondering about Lifehouse also.

the only christian rock band i listen to is Project 86. they're heavy metal, and all their lyrics have stuff from the bible in them (mostly just stories, no biblical names are used though. but they say things like "And even though i feel alone, I know that I COULD NEVER BE!!!" really loudly too)
