It;s really sad; but it;s really not all the kids fault as the apple doesn;t fall far from the tree. ,, Where are theses parents,My son is 10ys olds and the mouths on a lot of his peers in school is appalling. They tell the teachers to f you bit#H AND HAVE NO COMPASSION AT ALL,My SON GOT IN A FIGHT 2DAYS BEFORE SCHOOL WAS OUT AS A 5TH GRADER WAS SLAPPING A LITTLE GIRL THAT WAS IN THE 2ND GRADE, He told the kid to stop as she ;s just a kid and the kid slapped him; then my boy slapped him back;My son had to go to the office for recesses and the bully got nothing,I live in the hood and you can;t even leave a bike or ball out as people and kids steal them ; and if the came and asked i would gladly give them a basketball. It;s scary also how people have no conscious now days also Where did our polite kids and caring family;s go.I know there out there as i;m and my friends are some; but were far in between,,,lol

It is terrible the things that are happening. The parents really have lost two kids. Thing is I really don't think a 13 year old is able to appreciate the finality or the seriousness. They just think in the present moment, not the past or future like an adult does. So he may have truly meant to kill his brother at that moment because he was mad about the controller. He does not think how bad he or his parents will feel later. At least not right away. I don't think the video game had much to do with it. It could be anything. If he had a knife and was unsupervised. If he goes to jail he will just learn to be a better criminal if he ever gets out.

OMG! That is horrible. Why would he even think of doing something like that? If I were to have killed my brother over something like that, I could not live a happy and normal life. I mean I feel for his whole family. I couldn't go to the funeral because I would be afraid of everybody avoiding me and putting me down. He is old enough to know not to do something like that. But ya, that is someone's life that was takin' over a stupid video game. Man, that is so heart trenching.

There are children killing children every day in inner city areas over a pair of sneakers or a jacket. They don't make the news because it didn't happen in the suburbs and it didn't involve some middle class youngsters whose parents have the wherewithal to buy video games and the like.

This is a tragedy but remember gangs with kids are killing kids and people every day. If you go in the wrong place you will find this out first hand.
