I like gloomy cool days without sun. I used to live in Michigan, where most of the time it was cloudy. I now live in El Paso, Texas.....and it is always very hot and sunny (and almost never rains!, it's beyond dry) no matter what. I realized that, it is better when it is gloomy, you do not have to worry about getting burnt in the sun.
To me it is very pretty when it's gloomy and cool. I cannot stand the sun. A lot of people in Michigan complain about the weather and wish they were somewhere hot and sunny.....but once you are out of there you realize that it is so much better to live in a place where it rains and it's cloudy most of the time.

Depends on my mood. I like hot sunny days when I want to be out and about doing stuff.. but I like cool gloomy days when nothing is really going on... or days that I have to clean. :)

BOTH... what really concerns me is the TEMPURATURE. I can deal with the COLD whether it's sunny or gloomy... but I HATE the local heat - we get into the 100F range for much of the Summer months, and it's miserable to work outside (I'm a rancher). I have to stop work between Noon and 4pm on the hottest days, and then work until the sunset around 8-9pm in the cooler evening hours. I WILL admit my favorite day is a COLD raining / snowy day... because I usually take most of the day off (I'm self-employed as a rancher)!! I get the milking / feeding done, plow the driveway, and then go inside to SNUGGLE with the wife / grandkids... so it's Disney more often than "Chick-flicks"... but the idea is the same.

I really prefer gloomy cool days. I can't stand the sun, my skin will get destroyed.

It depends on my mood, either is fine, but the sun is healthy, and it is good to be in it to lift your spirits. If there were too many gloomy days we would all be effected by that, lol.
